January Races at Canada's New Velodrome in Milton, Ontario

Over the next couple of weeks I'll be competing at Elite Canadian Track National Championship and Milton International Challenge, premiere events at Canada's new and only world class velodrome. You can see me compete for Team Ontario and then Kallisto-FCV in any event described as 'sprint' as well as the keirin, and at nationals only the omnium time trial.

Spectator tickets are free, but you do need to secure them through the Toronto Pan Am 2015 website. Nationals and the International Challenge are test events for upcoming Pan Am track competitions that will be held at this venue.

If you're from Niagara like me, keep an eye out at these events for fellow locals Steve Bauer, Gord and son Chris Singleton, Joe Veloce, Ben Perry and Candice Vermeulen - all worth a Google search and a loud cheer!

Check out Wikipedia for some basic info on Track Cycling before you head out. Of all cycling disciplines, this is unique in that you get to see all the action live, up close and personal.
