Have Your Say On Niagara Roads

The City of Niagara Falls is applying for Bike Friendly designation. Part of the process involves taking inventory of how existing travel ways accommodate bike traffic as well as any amenities the city holds for people on bikes. After the application is submitted, a rating is determined and areas for improvement are identified for follow up.

Important part - If you ride a bike or use a road, your input is wanted. Contact Jeff Guarasci by emailing jguarasci@niagarafalls.ca

This is an exciting starting point for the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region as many more towns and cities have received or are in the process of applying for Bike Friendly status. Niagara is one of the greatest places to explore by bike, foot or vehicle.

It feels good to make a positive contribution toward safe streets for all traffic and to help facilitate healthier, more active lifestyle habits that will last a lifetime. Happy side effects also include improvements to the health of our environment and economic benefits too.

I hope that you see value in this and find a way to become engaged too. Learn more at www.sharetheroad.ca
